“"A conversation is a dialogue, not a monologue. There are so few good conversations because two intelligent speakers seldom meet.” – Truman Capote
Politik is proud to present a series of intimate and independent thought exchanges examining the most critical digital issues facing humanity. Our post-pandemic expedition began online with the Electronic Recyling Association's ‘The Soft Machine' in May 2020 as we welcomed digital luminaries from Suncor, Enbridge, Enmax, Syncrude, University of Alberta, SAIT, ATB Financial, Alberta Energy Regulator, AltaML and Attabotics to discuss the evolution of Canada’s digital economy. We continued our journey in September as we gathered C-level executives from Amazon Web Services, OpenStack, Salesforce, Cobalt and Thomson Reuters to explore the role of digital ethics in advancing human equality. The inaugural chapter of ‘Academic’ will commence on November 19 and will present a masterclass in the art of contemporary cloud computing with Jim Love, Chief Information Officer at IT World Canada and five of Montreal’s leading cloud authorities. The long awaited third chapter of Interzone will play out online on December 1, 2 and 3. Mankind is heading into an era of singularity at breakneck speed. We invite you to embrace the Politik movement today; to unnerve; to unsettle; to unravel. Every little counts.
